My name is Tracy Bush and I am the granddaughter of the late Percy Bush Ngahere Te Pohe.
I grew up in Te Haroto with my grandfather until my mid teens and although came home on a regular basis I permanently moved home to Te Haroto a couple years ago and reside at 7 Turangakumu road.
I currently work at the Tarawera and Te Haroto cafe and am also telemarketer for an Australian company named Zoop where I call corporate and commercial organisations throughout New Zealand and survey them for an electrical manufacturer in Singapore then transcribe their feedback so I am able to interact with people on different levels.
I have obtained 2 trustee certificates through Maori Land Court and also have a certificate in employment skills.
I am also a trustee for Te Haroto 2B1D2B.
Recently I have been nominated to become a trustee ofTataraakina trust and believe I would be an asset to this trust with the different skills that I bring including communication skills and commitment.
I have a great understanding of tikanga.whakapapa and cultural values relating to Tataraakina and am able to work with people from all walks of life.
If I am successful in becoming a trustee for Tataraakina I wilt be committed to Tataraakina moving forward in a positive direction.
